TACTICAL KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED
We started Zot University because we were tired of taking classes in which three hours of content were crammed into 40 hours of classes which required us to miss work.
We wanted classes which stripped out all of the extraneous stuff and just had the tactical knowledge that we needed for our jobs.
Training is everywhere today. There are how-to videos and DIYs all over the web on how to do everything. Who has the time to watch 300 hours of videos to sift out those nuggets of knowledge?
That's what we've done for you. We've refined all of that information to create a class which has all the tactical knowledge you need, taught by the most experienced instructors, in the right amount of time.

As the foundational gateway to all other ICAgile tracks, the Agile Fundamentals (ICAgile Certified Professional, or ICP) has the broadest target audience. It is appropriate for those new to agile, and for practitioners who recognize that to succeed with agile practices, teams and organizations need to also “be agile.”
The course includes a brief coverage of the historical roots of agile and the challenges that drove its evolution, to provide full grounding in the core concepts on which it is founded and that preceded the agile manifesto, which is also covered in full.
From that launch point the course progresses into coverage of some widely applied frameworks and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaling methods, connecting them to the underlying concepts from which they derive.
This course is highly collaborative and participatory. Through lecture, examples, discussion, exercises, videos and real life simulations, our practicing agile consultants help you learn, experience and internalize all of this, step-by-step, from values to principles to practices, even in the way the course itself is taught. You will come away with a solid understanding of fundamental concepts along with the mindset and core skills needed to be a productive member of any agile team. Identifying and addressing any questions you have about agile is explicitly incorporated to ensure the training leaves you prepared to execute in any agile environment. In short, you come away knowing what it means to “be agile” and the foundation you need to succeed in the rest of your agile journey.
